ABOUT THE INSTITUTE ON DISABILITIES

A MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Several years ago, we launched the first version of the Institute on Disabilities website. It served the purpose of making information about the website readily available. Over time, we listened to the comments and concerns of our customers, our colleagues, and our staff, and went back to the drawing board. What you see now is the result of many months of planning and work.

We believe that the information that we know is so vital to people with disabilities, families and friends, educators, support personnel, criminal justice personnel, and many more, is now far easier to find. The site is more intuitive to navigate and hopefully you'll find it more inviting, interesting, and informative.

Of course, we'll never stop improving! I encourage you to contact us with your comments and suggestions. We WANT to hear from you!
